Project Engineer (Electronics)
C & C Technologies is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join its C-Nav group in Lafayette, Louisiana. The successful candidate will join the development team, reporting to the Product Development Manager. Their primary duties will be the design, assembly and documentation of prototype and custom systems related to C-Nav’s positioning product lines.
Technical Requirements
A sound knowledge of serial interfacing, Ethernet, power supplies, and general electronics is required, plus the ability to design, document, and built prototype equipment with the minimum of supervision.
Familiarity with satellite positioning equipment and offshore survey equipment would be an advantage as would the use of microprocessor modules. Familiarity with MS Office programs, and preferably a drawing package.
Statutory Requirements
Although based in Lafayette, some travel and work offshore will be required. All applicants must have the ability to obtain a current passport and Transportation Workers Identity Card , have a valid driver’s license, and be a US citizen, or permanent resident. The successful candidate will be required to attend PEC safety and offshore survival training.
Education and Experience
BS degree in Electronics is preferred, but an Associate Degree with more extensive offshore or military experience will be considered. Applicants with 1 – 3 post graduate work experience in the survey or marine electronics industry will be favored. Experience with GPS is an advantage.

Survey Analyst
Fugro Chance Inc. is seeking a Survey Analyst to join our MCS Marine Data Management group in Houston, TX.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop project data and information for field staff use, transfer data for entry into the Chance GIS, prepare plats and reports for client and/or regulatory submission, assist Project Manager as needed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Associate’s Degree in Surveying, Geomatics or Civil Engineering or equivalent two-year college technical related degree. Survey Equipment Technician
Survey Equipment Services Inc (SES) currently have an opening for an Electronic Technician preferably with experience working with Side Scan Sonar, Sub-Bottom Profilers, Magnetometers, Single & Multi-beam Echo-sounders, GPS, Gyro & Heading Sensors, Subsea Acoustics, ROV Sensors and other marine survey and navigation equipment.

SES rents and sells marine survey and navigation equipment to a wide range of clients based across North America and Internationally. The position will be supported by a very strong internal sales administration and technical support team.

Hydrographic Data Processor
TerraSond Ltd is seeking a Hydrographic Data Processor for its Houston office. Under the supervision of the Office Manager/Geophysicist, the Data Processor participates in field to finish hydrographic survey work to include setup and operation of navigation, positioning, sounding, data collection and processing equipment. Duties include fieldwork, data processing, care of equipment and vessels, and support of other ativities associated with TerraSond’s survey, scientific and engineering support services.
He or she is responsible for processing multi beam and side scan hydrographic survey projects to include: review data, survey notes, and documentation submitted by survey crew to ensure that it is the type and quality of data required for a smooth transition into processing software; analyze and process data using project specified software packages; oversee and approve Quality Assurance and Quality Control of collected and processed data; write and proof project descriptive reports; inspect final deliverables to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with customer specifications.

Commercial Manager
